Hey, guys! It’s Thanksgiving today. Whenever this day of the year arrives, I can’t help but think about the things I am thankful for.
First and foremost, I am thankful for my good health.
It’s really as they say: health is wealth; I know it sounds cliché but it’s true and I’ve never really understood its importance until I saw friends and family fall ill. Aside from the mental and physical stress that the sick and their loved ones go through, there’s the financial burden that comes with having an illness. Healthcare costs an arm and a leg, and because of this, I’ve seen acquaintances and friends lose their homes because of medical expenses. Not to mention the past two years or so have been challenging for the entire world because of the COVID-19 pandemic, followed by monkeypox; so yes, thank goodness for good health.
In addition, I’m thankful for my friends, families, loved ones, etc., because of them, life is never boring. Having people in your life, someone who’ll love you and be with you through your ups and downs is for me, one of the greatest gifts in life. To have someone watch our back and cheer us on, to have someone pat our back during our successes, or call us out when we mess up is precious. Life can be lonely sometimes and I know that there are some paths we need to walk alone but knowing we have loved ones who we laugh with, someone who makes us happy, and loves us back unconditionally, makes us a bit stronger when it comes to navigating this so-called life.
Of course, I’m also thankful for my work and coworkers. Inflation is soaring, and expenses are rising, but I’m thankful I have a job, that I am able to do the work I love and that it’s with wonderful people.

Thankful to be cancer free anothwr year, my husband who ive been together with for 25 yrs, working for a co that gives me the time off so i can learn about my family roots, and my kitty whos actually my husbands cat but I still love him.
Thankful for my good health, loving healthy family and friends.
At the end of September, I hooked up with a guy from this site who lied about his status and then proceeded to breed me without consent. He gave me HIV and Chlymydia. I’m thankful for those who came ahead of me and blazed a trail, fought and won, those who were persecuted, imprisoned and those who died. I am able to live my life as a highly respected and successful openly gay man bc of them. Thank God for them, lest we all still be in the closet, scared of discovery and ruin.
I am thankful for those came ahead of me and gained acceptance by being great men and excellent members of their local communities without confrontation.
Barbers and hair dressers. The man who owned the drug store or hardware store or flower shop. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and caring as they helped you.
As you got to know them, there was never a mention of a girlfriend or wife. Over time, however, there’d be a male business partner, or roommate, or friend.
Everyone knew they were Gay, but it was never an issue because of the great men they were.
I am thankful for many things. But I want to send a big thank you to the Adam4Adam site. I have met good people here and have been able to explore and play and experience wonderful times with other men. I want to extend my deep appreciation that this site exists. I wish everyone a good day and hope each of you receive the things you want most in this life.
A big A-men to that! I’ve been on this site for a good 20 years and gotten many great hookups with thankfully, no horror stories (or diseases). Being a closeted married man, this site has fully rounded out my life – and then some. Without it, my hand would be so calloused by now!
I’m thankful to all the people in my life who once the topic of my sexuality got near said “we don’t care.”
I am thankful to live in the USA, which is the greatest country on earth. We have more living space, more luxuries, and more opportunities than our European counterparts. I am also thankful to our veterans for making all of those things possible.
Thankful for my boyfriend, family, friends and living in the best country in the world “United States of America”. Thankful to be alive after finding out I had very aggressive prostate cancer and having surgery to remove it. So guys start getting a PSA test done when you turn 45 and every year there after. I never had any signs that I had prostate cancer until I had a complete wellness physical done at 65. My sex life is all but gone for good but I can say being alive is better than the alternative.

On a sadder note:
I wish for my older brother to die expeditiously and peacefully as he is in the throes of Crack-related Dementia.
He knows me not and I do not want him institutionalize.
He will not get the care he will need and I, his brother, cannot afford to pay for the care he will need.
Death will free him as he sits and stares yonder!
thankful for my job, even though i don’t necessarily like it much, it’s still earns me some $$$ .. especially in this day and age of huge inflation and high prices, honey!
Aside from “thanksgiving” every day, I’m thankful-grateful to be experiencing my young – senior yrs., so far, in very good health, physically, mentally, spiritually; born in 61′, feeling my sense of “nostalgia,” I guess.
Grateful to have been a kid when, and where I was; I still feel the love-quiet acceptance of family and community/close friends; what they perhaps subconsciously planted in me; still bearing fruit.
I’m grateful for my family and friends; those here and gone, too.
Thankful for A4A and all the guys here who aren’t fem, fairies, celebriy- and diva- and pop music-, fashion-obsessed. Thankful to all the Gay guys who are regular guys, not only the stereotype. Guys who are Gay, but also have a blend of Conservative/Liberal views, and may even be Christian or Jewish. Being Gay for many Gay guys is just a part of who they are, not a controlling all of it.
I am thankful to be a follower of Jesus Christ whose mercy and grace continue to cover, protect and guide me, despite not being perfect. I’m also thankful for my family and loving friends. It seems that God placed me in a position this past year to be a positive light to my many friends who were dealing with major illnesses and death. May I continue to be a positive light to those who need encouragement.
